I enrolled in drama school after I was diagnosed with cancer — and beat it.

I was the oldest one in my class, almost everyone else was the age of my children. I was 54. It was so intimidating, overwhelming, and one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.

I’d wanted to be an actor since I was a child, but like many people, I was talked out of it and life happened and I took the “sensible” route. But after I beat cancer, I made a decision, no more ignoring my dreams. So I did the scariest thing I could think of — I went back to my childhood dream. I trained. I showed up. I pushed through the fear - and guess what?

• I got an agent.

• I started booking jobs.

• I’ve acted in Theatre, TV, Films, Commercials

• I’ve travelled the world doing it.

Now, I’ve created a school — Gospel School for Performing Arts (GSPA) — so others can have that same chance. A place where age, background, or experience doesn't disqualify you. A place where dreams are revived, and destinies awakened, because it’s never too late to become who you were born to be.

When you step into acting, you step into a new Kingdom assignment beyond church walls.
