On Friday 19th September, the stage of the O2 Indigo will come alive with a new experience at the Gospel Premier Awards, as students from the Gospel School for Performing Arts (GSPA) perform a scene from David the Worshipper.
Led by Actor, Singer, Writer, and Producer Pearl Jarrett, GSPA is the UK’s only drama school created specifically for the Gospel community.
What makes GSPA unique, is its commitment to training people of all ages and abilities, including those with absolutely no prior acting experience, and developing them with the same professional rigour found in other professional drama schools.
With expert Tutors, industry-standard training, but with a focus on both craft and calling, GSPA prepares its students to audition and secure roles in Stage, TV, and Film. But training is only part of the journey. GSPA actively creates pathways into the industry by writing original Stage and Screen productions, collaborating with leading professionals in production, songwriting, and vocal training, and ensuring every performance is marked by excellence.
This showcase of David the Worshipper is more than a performance – it’s a declaration of purpose, telling the stories we want the world to see and hear, delivered with the highest professional standards, and always representing our Lord with excellence.
If you’ve ever dreamed of stepping into acting, no matter your age, background, or level of experience, GSPA is here to ignite that dream. Your gift is not just for the church walls; it can be your ministry to the wider world.
